چکیده
Oilseed flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) is an important oil crop, and the SIMPLE model a very effective tool to simulate crop production. In this study, adapt for overall improvement of production yield, three promising cultivars North China—Longya Hybrid No. 1, Baxuan 3 Zhangya 2—were selected. Experiments were conducted in Dingxi, Wulanchabu, Datong Zhangjiakou Northern China from 2016 2020. The was first calibrated then evaluated simulation growth development grain yield biomass. A base temperature 5 °C used phenology, with optimum temperatures 16 20 third pair true leaves unfolded budding stage, 25 flowering stage. results, average simulated value aboveground biomass Dingxi 8772 kg ha?1, root mean square error (RMSE) 1239 ha?1 (d-index = 0.69). simulations also good other sites according comparison predicted observed biomasses (RMSE 135 d-index 0.90 at Zhangjiakou, RMSE 280 0.95 140 0.97 Datong). Flax well compared values, 55 0.96 63 0.93 whereas somewhat underestimated 176 0.91). Overall, provided satisfactory predictions under different environments management. Care should be taken when transferring SIMPLE-Flax environments, as vernalization day-length sensitivity are not included model.

The archaeological evidence of flax cultivation dates back to >6000 BC and it is considered as one of the oldest and most useful crops. Components of flax have diverse uses. Cultivar development of flax is currently focused on enhancing the oil content and nutritional value to meet the demand of nutraceutical market supply, as an alternate source of fish oil, a rich source of eicosapentaenoic a...

Biotechnology can offer useful tools to complement conventional breeding programs. The techniques of in vitro selection, that exploit phenomenon, called somaclonal variation, by screening cell cultures for resistance to herbicides, different types of stress or diseases, already helped to obtain tolerant lines of flax (Linum usitatissimum), which were used in further commercial breeding programs...

Acid soils limit agricultural production worldwide. Major reason of crop losses in acid soils is the toxicity of aluminum (Al). In the present work, we investigated expression alterations of microRNAs in flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) plants under Al stress. Flax seedlings of resistant (TMP1919 and G1071/4_k) and sensitive (Lira and G1071/4_o) to Al cultivars and lines were exposed to AlCl3 solu...
